KCAS Bio is seeking a Data Reviewer Specialist in Kansas City to join a fast-growing CRO. You will independently review data from studies, sign off on data integrity, and support report finalization. You will use Analyst, Watson, and LIMS, mentoring junior teammates and coordinating with QA and scientific staff.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely responses to audits, with opportunities to lead and train others within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field; 4+ years of related experience.
• Expert knowledge of data generated by the laboratory.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory policy and compliance requirements.
• Experience reviewing scientific or bioanalytical data and signing off with minimal guidance.
• Proficiency with Analyst and Watson; familiarity with LIMS.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train others.
• Ability to lead and mentor data review teammates.

Responsibilities

• Act as a data reviewer for assigned studies, performing comprehensive review and verification of scientific data with minimal guidance.
• Final data review and sign-off, including 100% review of Excel spreadsheets, report tables, and manipulated data transmittals.
• Verify outliers, repeated samples, and other data requiring additional review or investigation.
• Review reports and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Support study activities from data review through report finalization; resolve data issues quickly.
• Assist with expediting responses to Quality Assurance audits and other data-related inquiries.
• Apply regulatory policy knowledge when reviewing data and reports.
• Utilize Analyst and Watson for data review; make minor changes in LIMS as needed.
• Identify data discrepancies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve.
