Responsibilities

• Consults, collaborates, and works directly with clients on payroll work, data cleanup, and conversions; owns data-related project work including problem identification, analysis, resolution, documentation and both internal and external communication.
• Manages all inputs of project work; collects, analyzes, and determines appropriateness of client data; analyzes test data and ensures data accuracy.
• Interacts with external partners to identify data requirements, resolve data issues, manage timeframes, and provide guidance on data submission.
• Leads data workflow discussions with internal partners; acts as SME on data-related functions and offers solutions to improve data feeds and processes.
• Proactively assists others with issue resolution, training, and personal development.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Reporting and Data Analyst. In this role, you will support business operations by leveraging data to deliver meaningful insights, develop and maintain reports, and respond to end-user reporting needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in querying and analyzing data, creating clear and actionable reports, and partnering with stakeholders to provide data-driven solutions that support operational decision-making and business performance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Consults, collaborates, and works directly with clients on a variety of projects such as payroll work, full-scale data cleanup (in client HRIS, payroll, and Vanguard recordkeeping systems), and conversions. Owns all data related project work including problem identification, analysis, resolution, documentation and both internal and external communication.

• Manages all inputs of project work. Collects, analyzes, and determines appropriateness of client data. Analyzes test data and performs test scenarios to ensure all required data is present and accurate. Review and interprets data for corresponding project needs. Optimizes project approach as it pertains to data

• Interacts extensively with external partners such as prior recordkeeper, payroll vendor, and client to identify data requirements, resolve data issues, manage project timeframes, and provide guidance and insight on the submission of data.

• Engages and leads data workflow discussions with internal business partners such as Client Administration, Client Services, Participant Education, Risk & Treasury, IT and Data Transmission Services (DTS). Acts as point of contact and subject matter expert on data-related functions of project to all internal partners. Proactively offers solutions to improve the project and the client’s experience as it pertains to data, data feeds, and related processes.

• Proactively assists others with issue resolution, training, coaching, and personal development.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
