Job summary

Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking a Data Reliability Engineer to join a global team responsible for reliable data delivery to top portfolio managers.

The role focuses on day-to-day operations, data validation, incident response, and tooling to strengthen the research infrastructure and live trading workflows across markets. Requirements include a CS-related bachelor’s, 3+ years in a client-facing or operations role, and proficiency in Windows/Linux, AWS, SQL Server, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 3+ years in client-facing support or operations.
• Experience with Windows and Linux, on-prem and in AWS.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Python; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Level 1 support for thousands of mission critical data pipelines.
• Data validation, data entry tasks, data cleaning, security audits and reporting.
• Incident management including user communication and reporting for management.
• Developing tools, documentation, and processes to assist with daily operations and support.
• Support for complex permission and entitlements across many systems.
