Job summary

Diné Development Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst to enable high-quality service by managing data assets and supporting data governance initiatives. The role collaborates with SMEs to analyze data structures, metadata, and models within an IT services context, and helps maintain data quality across the portfolio.

The position emphasizes data profiling, ETL development, and partnering with data stewards to address information gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Experience with ETL or data movement software such as StreamSets, DataBricks, Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience using SQL for data analysis, data quality, and profiling.
• Experience leading small 3-4 person teams.
• Experience in one or more scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational activities to support decision making and resource allocation.
• Convey complex data management topics to stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with SMEs to collect and update metadata.
• Reverse engineer data models and artifacts to extract metadata.
• Review data for quality problems and help correct data.
• Collect and analyze data and system artifacts for business insights.
• Develop ETL routines to load and curate disparate data sets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
