Job summary

Derex Technologies INC is seeking a Data QA Program Manager with P&C domain expertise in Ohio. The role requires reporting to the client’s office three days a week (Tue–Thu) and leading QA initiatives across large data projects.

You will define data quality strategy, oversee automation, and manage data QA analysts and engineers in an onsite-offshore delivery model. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with 4–5 years in managing Data QA projects.
• Hands-on QA experience in Snowflake, Informatica CDV/DVO, SQL, Oracle, API Testing with Postman.
• Experience leading QA teams in an agile environment using tools like Jira, Rally or Azure DevOps.
• Previous roles in customer-facing QA leadership and large data QA initiatives.
• Strong project management and leadership, with ability to explain complex issues to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement data quality strategy, test approach, and QA processes.
• Collaborate with BAs, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Oversee automation framework development for data testing.
• Lead and mentor Data QA analysts and automation engineers.
• Plan QA resources, including interview panels and team capacity.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards.
• Drive test automation using Python for large datasets and schemas.
• Improve QA processes and automation coverage continuously.
• Address blockers and manage risks in QA strategy.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on QA experience in Snowflake, Informatica CDV/DVO, SQL, Oracle, API Testing using Postman, Python libraries for QA automation.
• Hands on experience managing team's deliverables using agile boards such as: Rally / Jira / Azure DevOps.
• Prior experience in managing large QA initiatives in a customer-facing role.
• Strong experience in onsite-offshore delivery model.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects.

• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.
• Solve impediments for executing the QA strategy by addressing technical and dependency complexity.
• Plan for risk management, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Manage internal as well as external stakeholder expectations.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
