Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced QA Automation/Testing specialist focused on data warehousing and ETL validation within a government/test framework. You will design and implement an automation framework, analyze test data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy across source and target databases in Azure.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in QA, strong SQL and Python skills, and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years in Software Quality Assurance.
Extensive ETL, data migration, and data warehouse testing experience.
Extensive experience with Python for data automation.
Strong SQL skills in Azure Databricks to compare source vs target DBs.
Proficiency with relational DB concepts, SQL, and XML data models.
Experience with test automation tools in Agile environments.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools Jira/Confluence and integration into test frameworks.
Comfortable with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze and document test data, results, and recommendations.
Perform functional and non-functional testing for data validation using Azure components.
Conduct smoke, integration, regression, and other tests on products under development and released.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and users to define testing needs and automation opportunities.
Ensure automated test scripts are created, maintained, and executed to meet project deliverables and testing requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of test quality via reviews and process improvements.
