Job summary

Moore Digital Print and Mail Center in Tulsa seeks a detail-oriented Data Processing Quality Control specialist to ensure accuracy of data before production. You will review programmer output, verify variable data, and ensure corrections are completed.

Responsibilities

  • Proofread all outgoing proofs created by programmers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify variable data is mapped correctly and matches job requirements.
  • Review proofs for data, formatting, personalization, placement, and other job-specific requirements.
  • Communicate with on-site and off-site programmers regarding jobs, corrections, questions, and job status.
  • Send and receive jobs from programmers and pull necessary paperwork as needed.
  • Prepare jobs for final proofing on-site.
  • Create final production paperwork once approval has been received.
  • Assume responsibility for proof distribution and laser output of programmer jobs.
  • Update JOT status logs accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding job status, problems, questions, and other job-related concerns.
  • Identify discrepancies or potential errors and communicate concerns before jobs are released to production.
  • Maintain accurate and organized job documentation.
  • Work closely with Data Processing and Production to help ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and variable-data information.
  • Maintain professional communication and conduct at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.
  • Assist and strategize with ongoing ERP system improvement plans.
  • Work overtime when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Processing Quality Control team member to ensure jobs are accurate and complete before being released to production. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Overtime when needed

Position Summary

The Data Processing Quality Control position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data processing jobs before they are released to production. This role reviews and proofreads programmer output, verifies variable data and job specifications, identifies potential errors, and ensures required corrections are completed. The position works closely with programmers and Production to maintain accurate job documentation, communicate job status, and help ensure jobs are completed correctly and on schedule

Education and Experience
  • 1-3 years quality control or data processing experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous experience in printing, production, quality control, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Digital printing or variable-data experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle printed materials and perform inspections.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the production area as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
  • Must have sufficient visual ability to inspect printed materials for quality, accuracy, color, alignment, and other defects.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
