Data Program Managers establish the operating rhythm, maintain an integrated view of scope and commitments, surface problems while options remain open, and give executives and delivery teams status they can trust. They understand enough of the underlying data and technology to test assumptions, challenge estimates, and recognize when a technical issue threatens the program's outcomes.
