Job summary

Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Technology Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders with technical delivery teams in the St. Louis and Kansas City area.

You will translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and support data platforms, pipelines, and governance initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, architects, and engineers, with a focus on agile practices, data governance, and scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical business analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
• Experience creating detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms, data governance concepts, and cloud-based data technologies.
• Experience working with event streaming, API management, and enterprise data integration tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical delivery teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Develop a strong understanding of business processes and supporting technology platforms.
• Gather, analyze, and document user and system requirements for new initiatives and ongoing enhancements.
• Refine business requirements into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data platforms, pipelines, and governance solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product teams to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards, security requirements, and scalability objectives.
• Support the design and implementation of data integration workflows, automation pipelines, monitoring practices, and data transformation processes.
• Promote reusable, secure, and scalable data product and platform capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and help facilitate decisions involving priorities, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
