Job description

  • Business-facing leadership: Ability to engage business leaders, identify opportunities, translate business needs into data initiatives, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Data governance and management: Demonstrated hands-on understanding of data quality, ownership, definitions, stewardship, and governance practices—not simply exposure through reporting or integrations.
  • Independent ownership: Someone who can identify problems, establish priorities, challenge assumptions, and deliver impact without significant oversight.
  • Data innovation: Experience proactively identifying new ways to leverage enterprise data beyond existing reporting and application functionality.
  • Banking/financial services: Meaningful domain experience is increasingly important.
  • Strong product management, technical fluency, and interpersonal skills remain important, but they aren't substitutes for demonstrated enterprise data management experience and business-driven impact.
  • Snowflake experience is valuable, but direct platform expertise should not shadow these priorities.
  • Please screen specific examples of what candidates personally owned and accomplished, rather than relying on technology lists or general program oversight..
Certifications or Degrees Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent work experience accepted.
