Do you believe data tells the real story? We do! Redefining mobility requires quality data, metrics and analytics, as well as insightful interpreters and analysts. That's where Global Data Insight & Analytics makes an impact. We advise leadership on business conditions, customer needs and the competitive landscape. With our support, key decision makers can act in meaningful, positive ways. Join us and use your data expertise and analytical skills to drive evidence-based, timely decision making.

In this position....

The Data Product Management Analyst is a key member of the Data Product Management Team. The Data Product Analyst will drive strategic thinking for Ford’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and will responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and lifecycle management of high-quality reusable foundational data products, bringing in strategic sources for enterprise needs, and data capabilities.

This role involves close collaboration with Ford skill teams, Analytic, GDIA DPE Teams, especially Central Engineering, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. The Analyst will focus on specific aspects of the data product lifecycle as well as new opportunities to support prioritized Ford initiatives with data.

Responsibilities

What you'll do....

Support data product development decisions, identifying trends, patterns, synergies, and areas for improvement, while also identifying opportunities to combine existing data assets into new, high-value solutions for the enterprise.

Work effectively within an agile team environment, collaborating closely with GDIA Analytics Teams, Enterprise Business Requestor, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders.

Build strong partnerships across business, data source, and engineering teams for cross-team collaboration.

Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Constantly apply prioritization principles across all work.

Actively contribute to quarterly planning by developing and maintaining a strategic, quarter-over-quarter roadmap. You will be a part of the team responsible for tracking delivery against this roadmap and reporting on the realized business value of completed work to stakeholders and leadership.

Ensure:

Data products meet defined data engineering standards before release.

Data quality and integrity throughout the data product lifecycle.

Understand and support established data governance policies and procedures.

Routinely track data source and product usage.

Leverage market research and competitor analysis, providing insights to inform data product strategy.

Qualifications

You’ll have....

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (Masters Degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Data Engineering or equivalent role
  • Demonstrated working knowledge or experience in Quality, Manufacturing and Product Development.

Even better, you may have....

  • Experience owning data products, platforms, or analytics solutions from concept through launch and ongoing enhancement.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, APIs, data models, and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Experience translating complex business problems and data requirements into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and user stories.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders.

Experience defining and tracking data quality, product adoption, performance, and business outcome metrics.

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
  • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
  • Tuition assistance
  • Established and active employee resource groups
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Years Day
  • Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $115,000-$192,900.
