Job summary

Nestlé IT & Digital Americas is seeking a Data Product Expert to own and evolve the enterprise semantic layer, turning business definitions and KPIs into scalable data products that power analytics, AI-ready data, and governance across Nestlé USA.

You will partner with business, data engineering, architects, and BI teams to standardize metrics, ensure quality, and enable fast, high-quality decisions while aligning with global data standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, semantic modeling, or data products.
• 5+ years hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, and dbt or similar semantic tech.
• 3+ years building semantic layers, enterprise KPI and metrics frameworks, governed data models.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for the enterprise semantic layer.
• Standardize business definitions, KPIs, and metrics across reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
• Translate business processes and requirements into scalable semantic models and governed data products.
• Partner with business stakeholders, data engineering, architects, and BI teams to optimize usability, performance, and adoption.
• Establish governance standards for metric logic, naming, lineage, documentation, access, and data quality.
• Enable semantic structures that support explainability, reuse, and high-performance access for analytics and GenAI pipelines.
