Job summary

YipitData, a leading market research and analytics firm, is hiring a Data Product Analyst for our Retail team. You will manage data quality end-to-end, deliver high-impact data outputs, and communicate methodologies to clients.

You will collaborate with Insights and Engineering, mentor peers, and help scale data-driven products for major retail clients across the US, with remote options within the United States.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or similar languages; Github and Databricks familiarity.
• Experience using sample or panel data to make precise estimates guiding decisions.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, orally and in writing.
• Strong ownership mentality and impact-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own high-impact data deliverables for retail products.
• Design and run QA processes to ensure data accuracy.
• Serve as trusted data resource for clients and internal teams.
• Investigate and resolve complex data quality issues.
• Collaborate with Insights and Engineering to streamline data workflows.
• Mentor peers and raise data quality standards.
