Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Data Processing Specialist I at Edwards, CA to support day-to-day pre- and post-test data processing for flight testing and data reduction.

You will organize data management frameworks, develop data analysis processes, generate reports for stakeholders, and collaborate with engineers and QA to ensure data quality and timely delivery; US citizenship and security clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and data ingestion/reduction processes
• Ability to apply Data Management toolsets to complete tasks
• Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license
• U.S. citizen required

Responsibilities

• Organizes and provides Data Management framework per project and data recovery requirements
• Develops data analysis processes or products for data reduction
• Generates reports distributed to stakeholders and management
• Supports creation of data capture templates and research of data errors
• Interfaces with QA to ensure strict quality control
• Identifies and resolves data anomalies and develops workarounds
• Troubleshoots and quality checks aircraft test data
• Develops software and OS procedures
• Acts as POC for test data problem reporting
• Collaborates with programmers and engineers to ensure timely data operations
• Performs data handling and validation of pre-flight data using scripted actions
• Ensures data products are logged in/out of data management system
• Supports document management for engineering customers
• Performs other duties as assigned
