Wilson Elser is seeking a Data Privacy and AI Governance Attorney to join a fast-paced national team. The role focuses on data privacy compliance, AI governance, and related litigation and advisory work.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of relevant experience, a JD, and admission to at least one state or federal bar. Offices in East Meadow or White Plains, NY with flexible hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school is required.
• Must be admitted to practice in at least one state and federal jurisdiction.
• 3–8 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or AI governance law.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data privacy compliance and AI governance frameworks.
• Prepare data processing agreements, privacy policies, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct privacy and AI risk assessments for diverse industries.
• Defend clients in privacy litigation, including data breach and related claims.
• Develop and deliver training on data privacy and governance.
