Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America is seeking a Data Platform Environment Specialist to oversee the daily operation of the data platform, primarily using Microsoft Fabric.

The role ensures reliability, security, and cost-effective operation across AISIN North America data environments. Responsibilities include managing cloud-based platforms, databases, data lakes, and data warehouses; supporting ETL/ELT pipelines; monitoring performance and incidents; and driving improvements with IT infra teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years implementing and operating AI Power Data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure management.
• Experience with databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT technologies.
• Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.
• Understanding of security, access management, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, DataOps, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to optimize cost and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standards, policies, and operational procedures.
• Lead environment change management, releases, patching, upgrades.
• Provide environments and technical support to development teams.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure team members.
• Support system audits and compliance activities.
• Evaluate data platform technologies and adoption opportunities.

Position Summary

The Data Platform Environment Specialist is responsible for the daily operation of the data platform, mainly using Microsoft Fabric. As data from many business areas across AISIN North America is expected to grow, this role is very important for ensuring system reliability, stable operations, and data security.

Position Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve the data platform environment.
• Operate and manage cloud-based data platforms.
• Administer and maintain databases, data lake, and data warehouse environments.
• Support the operation of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processing platforms.
• Monitor systems and performance and respond to incidents and service disruptions.
• Plan and implement initiatives to improve the availability, stability, and performance of data platforms.

Required Skills and Abilities

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Willingness to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of use cases such as AI/ML and advanced analytics.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry (Automotive industry preferred).

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric certifications are highly preferred.
• Cloud Services and Databases certifications are beneficial.
