Worth AI in Orlando is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate core data services powering products and analytics. You will own end-to-end pipelines and APIs that ingest, process, and expose high-quality data for internal teams and external partners.

You will join a small, high-impact team treating the data platform as a product with strong SLAs, self-service access, and robust governance. This role emphasizes graph tech, data quality, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Graph databases experience (Neo4j, AWS Neptune, TigerGraph).
• Entity resolution/record linkage experience.
• Schema design for evolving regulatory data.
• API design for graph traversals (GraphQL/REST).
• Experience with data pipelines and cloud services (AWS).
• Strong software engineering skills (Python/Java/Go/Rust).
• Experience with Spark/Flink, Kafka/Kinesis, Airflow, Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Observability, metrics/logs/traces, reliability.
• Cross-functional collaboration ability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement entity resolution to create Golden Records.
• Design a scalable global knowledge graph and ontology for ownership and risk mapping.
• Hybrid storage strategy for graph databases and document/store data.
• Optimize platform for real-time risk assessment and onboarding decisions.
• Build data services and APIs for ingesting, transforming, and serving data.
• Develop batch and streaming pipelines using modern data processing tools on AWS.
• Own platform reliability, performance, and API-first data interfaces.
• Establish data modeling, lineage, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to translate needs into platform capabilities.
• Drive CI/CD automation and reproducible environments.
• Shape architecture of data platform as internal service with SLAs.
