Job summary

Ziegler CAT is hiring a Data Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize the enterprise data platform and integration architecture. The role focuses on Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, on-premise work at the Bloomington office, and collaboration with BI, Power BI, and application teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data engineering, strong SQL skills, and experience with data warehousing and data integration. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS, IS, or related field.
• 3+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses and Microsoft Fabric/Azure Data Services.
• Strong SQL and relational DB design skills.
• Experience with data integrations and dimensional modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data warehouses and data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines supporting reporting, analytics, and BI.
• Build scalable data architectures to meet current and future needs.
• Integrate ERP/CRM/cloud apps and external vendors with internal systems.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
