Job summary

Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast are seeking a capable Platform Engineer to help build and maintain data platform infrastructure and tooling. You’ll work across Databricks, Snowflake, and streaming tech to support analytics, ML, and data science teams in a collaborative cloud environment.

You’ll contribute to data pipeline reliability, governance, and environment configuration while partnering with analytics and BI specialists to deliver accurate data products and scalable solutions within a

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related technical role.
• Familiarity with and hands‑on exposure to cloud‑based data platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and proficiency in Python.
• Basic understanding of data pipeline concepts — batch processing, scheduling, data modeling.
• Some exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code concepts; Terraform is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git‑based workflows and CI/CD fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain shared platform infrastructure and developer tooling.
• Support cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) including monitoring and access management.
• Help implement infrastructure‑as‑code for data platform components.
• Assist in evaluating new tools and confirming platform decisions.
• Support optimization and governance of Databricks and Snowflake environments.
• Partner with analytics and BI teams to ensure data products are accurate and accessible.
