Job summary

JFC Staffing Companies seeks a Data Platform Engineer to shape enterprise data solutions. You will leverage advanced SQL, Azure data services, and Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and Dataverse to build scalable data pipelines and analytics that drive business success.

Collaborate across teams, optimize ETL/ELT workflows, support Power BI datasets, ensure data governance, security, and reliability, and continuously modernize the data platform to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with advanced SQL, including optimization & tuning
  • Strong relational data modeling and database design knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services and Synapse

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Azure, Fabric, Synapse and Dataverse
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures and data models for reporting and operations
  • Build and manage robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and apply tuning techniques
  • Support data integration across ERP/CRM systems and ensure security and governance

Key Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with advanced SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling principles
  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Dataverse
  • Knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data architecture
  • Experience supporting Power BI datasets and reporting environments
  • Strong grasp of database administration tasks like security, backups, and performance monitoring
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with effective communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and its data structures
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or similar data integration tools
  • Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and data quality practices
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Fabric, or SQL are advantageous
