Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Platform Administrator to sit remote for a Fortune 500 3PL client. You will administer Databricks, Snowflake, and PowerBI, manage user provisioning, workspace controls, and security. You’ll automate tasks with Python and handle data pipelines, RBAC, lineage, auditing, and governance.

Projects include upgrades, migrations, and new integrations to scale data platforms. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in data platform administration, hands-on data

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in data platform administration
• Background in data engineering and analytics
• Strong experience administering Databricks and Snowflake
• Well versed in Azure cloud services
• Strong understanding of data governance principles (RBAC, lineage, metadata management, auditing)
• Well versed in Python scripting for platform administration and automation
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, BI reporting

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and operate Databricks, Snowflake, and PowerBI platforms
• Assist with user provisioning, workspace management, and access controls
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform platform lifecycle activities
• Support security-related items and overall governance

An employer is looking for a Data Platform Administrator to sit remote. You will primarily be tasked with administering, supporting, and operations for the client's data tools/ platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, PowerBI, etc. You will asssit with user provisioning, workspace management, access controls, monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform lifecycle activities. You will support security related items for the platforms/ tools and overall governance. Your work will be a combination of supporting tickets/ issues as they are escalated and project related duties including incorporating new integrations, upgrades, migrations, etc. You will also leverage Python for automating manual tasks and administrative duties to streamline workflows and ensure best practices are aligned with the overall scalability, performance, and data fundamentals.
