Job summary

NOV is seeking a technically skilled professional to evaluate, analyze, and recommend improvements to product design, maintenance, and operational performance. You will support the development of new products and drive performance enhancements and cost improvements.

The role requires robust analysis of materials, competitive products, and patents, plus acting as a technical escalation point for Tier 2 SMEs to resolve complex issues. ISO and HSE policy compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong technical analysis and report writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multinational teams and time zones.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and recommend improvements to product design, maintenance, and operational performance.
• Support the development of new products and drive performance enhancements and cost improvements.
• Assess and recommend new materials to support product design changes.
• Conduct technical analysis of competitive products, services, and patents.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for Tier 2 SMEs, providing advanced analysis and resolution of complex issues.
• Comply with all NOV and HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the COE Technical Leader.
