Job summary

GLG is seeking a curious Data Operations Engineer to join the Data Operations team. You will help build, operate, and troubleshoot data pipelines and integrations that power GLG's platforms and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in data operations or related roles, strong SQL skills, and Python proficiency for data manipulation. Experience with AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Opencode) is a plus, with opportunities to learn Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and relational databases.
• Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Foundational knowledge in data modeling and quality.
• Experience with AI tools like Claude, Copilot, Opencode.

Responsibilities

• Build, run, and maintain data pipelines, imports, and integrations that feed GLG's platforms and reporting.
• Write and optimize SQL to move, transform, and validate data across sources.
• Monitor scheduled jobs and resolve data-quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and queries.
• Contribute to runbooks, documentation, and best practices.
• Stay curious about new tools and approaches; training on our stack.
