Job summary

Tekfriday Processing Solutions is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability and availability of critical data across applications. You will develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server assets, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot production data issues.

The role requires 1–3 years with SQL Server or as a SQL Developer, strong T-SQL skills, and experience with data validation and data migrations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues and optimize slow-running queries.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks.
  • Execute controlled production data fixes and corrections.
  • Support database deployments and data migrations.
  • Monitor daily production data loads and scheduled jobs.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production data issues.
  • Ensure business-critical data is accurate, complete, and available.
  • Monitor operational dashboards and proactively identify anomalies.
  • Validate data between source and target systems.
  • Identify duplicate, inconsistent, or missing records.
  • Implement data quality checks and exception reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal data standards.
  • Support production incidents related to SQL Server databases.
  • Troubleshoot application data issues within defined SLAs.
  • Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects.
  • Maintain incident documentation and post-resolution reports.
  • Automate repetitive SQL and operational tasks.
  • Build scripts using SQL Server Agent, PowerShell, or Python where applicable.
  • Improve operational efficiency by reducing manual intervention.
  • Develop reusable scripts for health checks and monitoring.
