Role: Data Modeler

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: 3-4 Months

Domain Knowledge: P&C Insurance (Mandatory)

Experience: 10+ years in IT with expertise in Data Modeling for Data Warehouse/Data Mart development, Data Warehousing (OLAP), Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Analysis for OLTP.

Responsibilities include facilitating data requirement meetings, working on Data Modeling, System/Data Analysis, Design, and Development for OLTP and Data Warehousing projects, using Erwin and ER Studio, and implementing data modeling concepts like Star and Snowflake schemas, Fact and Dimension tables, and managing Slowly Changing Dimensions.

Experience with ETL tools (Microsoft SSIS, Informatica), database tools (SQL Server versions), and documentation of data models is required. Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams are essential.
