Job summary

Concord is seeking a seasoned Data Modeler to design and maintain scalable data models for a health insurance payer client on a modern cloud data platform. You will deliver conceptual, logical, and physical models, including OLTP and star schemas, while coordinating with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data modeling experience across transactional and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Erwin Data Modeler is a must.
• Exposure to Snowflake and/or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of normalization, star and snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and fact/dimension design.
• Experience modeling data for a health insurance payer organization.
• Functional knowledge of claims and/or premium data is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders to define requirements.

AboutTheRole

We’re looking for a Data Modeler to design and maintain data models for a health insurance (payer) client. You’ll build transactional and dimensional models across core payer domains such as claims, premiums, and membership. You’ll work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn business requirements into well‑structured models on a modern cloud data platform. This is a hands‑on role, and you’ll own model design from the conceptual stage through to physical implementation.
