Job description

Overview

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data/information modeling
• Strong logical and physical data modeling skills. Should have expert knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data models including 3rd Normal Form and dimensional data modeling. Physical should include a good understanding of database views, indexing, table and index partitioning.
• Experience with implementation of physical data models in a Big Data / Hadoop data warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to understand business requirements
• Use of ERwin data modeling tool
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Data warehouse architecture concepts
• Ability to create and understand process and data flows

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in Healthcare Sales and Marketing
• Working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQL Server
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT technologies
• SQL tuning techniques
