Motional AD Inc. is hiring a Principal Engineer, Data & ML Infrastructure to lead the Ground Truth Regression framework for ML model validation in autonomous driving.

You will oversee a team of engineers, drive data warehousing innovations, and own large-scale data analysis workflows that reveal ML model impacts. You will guide the development of AWS Kubernetes orchestration, data pipelines, and regression tooling while mentoring peers and delivering high-quality datasets for model training and

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Proven track record leading a diverse team supporting a large user base.
• Experience in machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis.
• Experience deploying large-scale cloud frameworks.
• Strong Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to support autonomous vehicle ML models and software.
• Drive innovation by researching large-scale data warehousing and analysis.
• Own data analysis workflows surfacing impacts of changes to ML models and software.
• Build high-quality datasets for ML product training and evaluation.
• Provide statistical depth on model performance and generalization.
