Canopy in South Jordan, UT seeks a Data Migration Specialist to support customer onboarding through accurate data migrations for our Practice Management Suite. The role is hybrid (M, W, F in-office) and involves preparing data, validating migrations, and collaborating across teams to resolve blockers.

Candidates should have 2+ years of data migration experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and with others in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data or file migration or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy across large datasets.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using AI to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support the data migration team during customer implementations to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare, format, and validate customer data for migration using Excel and in-house tools.
• Collaborate with implementation, R&D, and other migration team members to resolve data blockers.
• Provide hands-on support during cutover and go-live periods.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track data, monitor progress, and document reconciliation results.
• Run test migrations and document accuracy of migrated data.
