The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services division seeks a Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor to support Account Management, Account Executive and Clinical Account Executive functions. The role ensures data availability, accuracy, and usability through ad-hoc and scheduled deliverables.

Ideal candidate has 5-7 years in health care data analysis, strong SQL/Python/Tableau/Alteryx skills, and excellent communication to present insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in health care/managed care with data analysis and management, relational databases, and reporting.
• Proficient with Alteryx, Tableau, Python or similar data mining/manipulation tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational database concepts to query data from multiple sources.

Summary:

The Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor supports Account Management, Account Executive and Clinical Account Executive functions and client output deliverables through tactical execution that ensures the availability, accuracy, and usability of data. The Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor works closely with process owners, account team representatives, and internal partners to fulfill both ad-hoc and scheduled deliverables including general reporting as well as advanced analytical guidance. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to communicate the results to project stakeholders. This role is a key team member responsible for consistent, timely, and accurate output of data.

Responsibilities:

• Use Python, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx or similar tools to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms

Requirements:

• 5-7 years’ experience in health care/managed care field with direct responsibility for data analysis and management, relational databases, and reporting.
• Ability to use Alteryx, Tableau, Python or other data mining and manipulation tools
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Basic understanding of relational database concepts with the ability to write programs/code to perform queries and retrieve data from multiple tables/sources via SAS or SQL.
• Strong preference for candidates with a background in claims reporting, deep-dive analysis and benefits utilization analysis.
• Intermediate level expertise in the use of relational database concepts with the ability to write programs/code to perform queries on data and retrieve data from multiple tables/sources via SAS or SQL is required.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office suite of tools, specifically Excel and Access required
• Proven experience in understanding and translating business needs into usable reports for use internally and client facing.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to present technical information to a varied audience and lead meetings when necessary.
• Strong data mining skills including the ability to perform research and conduct root cause analysis.
• Self-motivated, initiative taking individual possessing the ability to access and prioritize work.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,700 - 161,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
