Job description

The job profile for this position is Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.

Excited to grow your career?

We value our talented employees, and whenever possible strive to help one of our associates grow professionally before recruiting new talent to our open positions.

Our people make all the difference in our success.

Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations may be asked to work in person three days per week: Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, or Scottsdale, AZ.

We are seeking a Data Management & Reporting Advisor to join the Integration & Automation (I&A) team within Data Measurement & Reporting. This role is critical to delivering technical reporting solutions, user interfaces, data pipelines, and automation workflows that support provider data quality, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across several high‑visibility enterprise initiatives.

This position supports business‑critical analytics and automation capabilities that enable data‑driven decision‑making, protect regulatory compliance, and ensure operational readiness across the enterprise. The advisor plays a key role in scaling automation, UI, and data engineering capabilities as the organization continues to modernize provider data operations and delivery platforms.

The advisor delivers hands‑on technical solutions that remove manual effort, improve data quality, and enable scalable automation across high‑impact provider and enterprise initiatives. This role directly supports enterprise value, regulatory readiness, and operational efficiency as data platforms and workflows continue to evolve.

Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, the advisor designs, develops, and delivers scalable, production‑ready technical solutions tied to major transformation efforts and enterprise-wide strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex technical solutions, including custom user interfaces, automation tools, and data pipelines supporting provider data, adoption, and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Build and enhance UI‑driven tools and workflow solutions that automate manual processes, enable structured data collection, and support downstream reporting and analytics
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes that ingest, transform, reconcile, and consolidate data from multiple internal systems and external vendor files
  • Automate complex reconciliation and matching processes, reducing manual effort and enabling low‑touch or one‑click workflows for operational teams
  • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions, including data models, ETL logic, automation workflows, and backend processing across multiple platforms and data sources
  • Refactor and modernize legacy reporting and automation solutions, improving performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability across enterprise migration and modernization initiatives
  • Work hands‑on with complex and incomplete (“messy”) data, partnering with business stakeholders to understand upstream processes, data gaps, and system behaviors
  • Partner directly with IT teams at a technical design level, defining data structures, tables, indices, and upstream capture requirements to ensure solutions are implemented correctly and sustainably
  • Serve as a technical liaison between business and IT, while also performing hands‑on development work; this role is a hybrid of developer and business analyst, not a requirements‑only position
  • Support end‑to‑end technical delivery for high‑visibility initiatives, including enterprise migrations, automation programs, provider data modernization, and regulatory reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across regulated and compliance‑sensitive environments through strong development, validation, and quality practices
Key Initiatives Supported
  • Provider data modernization and quality automation
  • Accelerate analytics, automation, and reporting tied to enterprise financial value
  • PRIME replacement and legacy reporting re‑engineering
  • LexisNexis JSON and Pega workflow integration and reporting
  • Adoption and incubation automation platforms (UI and backend tooling)
  • Provider quality, reconciliation, defect tracking, and remediation automation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • Strong experience with SQL and relational data design
  • Hands‑on experience with ETL development and data pipeline engineering
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, SSIS, and SAS (or comparable combination of scripting and programming languages)
  • Experience building custom user interfaces or internal tools that support data capture, automation, or operational workflows
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into technical, production‑ready solutions
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with business partners and IT teams in complex enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting provider data, claims, payment, or healthcare operations
  • Experience working with external vendor data feeds and reconciliation processes
  • Exposure to regulated, compliance‑driven data environments
  • Experience modernizing legacy reporting or automation solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
