Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Data Manager to support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) division at Hanscom AFB, MA. You will plan, develop, implement, and administer information systems for data storage and retrieval, with a focus on metadata development and records management.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and 3+ years in DoD environments. Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field is preferred; responsibilities include data analysis,

Qualifications

• Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Level Clearance and have current SCI eligibility
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
• Years of experience: 3+ years of experience with 3+ years of experience in the DoD
• Experience in CM within the DoD environment
• Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits
• Experience with CM tools supporting inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling
• Experience producing release notes and CM reports
• Understanding of configuration change control process, CCB roles, and change documentation
• Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments
• Experience developing briefings for management
• Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
• Ability to enter and manipulate data in databases (Lifecycle Management Process, Microsoft Access, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

• The candidate shall provide comprehensive Data Manager support to plan, develop, implement, and administer information systems used for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data.
• Duties include compiling data, performing detailed data analysis, and creating specialized reports.
• Deliverables may include reports, tracking tools, and synopses of analytical findings.
• The top priority for this role will be Metadata Development and Knowledge Management implementation.
• Data & Records Management duties including generating and evaluating equipment accountability logs and reports
• Organize, manage, and maintain the status of CDRL items and oversee data item deliveries
• Provide input to acquisition documentation and records management plans
• Maintain and administer data standards, policies, and procedures
• Develop and implement data mining and warehousing programs
