Job summary

As a Data Manager within PNC's Data Products - Retail Lending organization, you will be based in either; Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ.

Specific Job Duties May Include
Data Governance
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures, focusing on data classification, retention, protection, and movement.
  • Support compliance efforts to security and/or privacy-related regulations and industry standards.
  • Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities.
Data Quality
  • Define and implement data quality standards and metrics.
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits, focusing on the accuracy and integrity of sensitive financial and personal data.
  • Develop data cleansing and validation processes.
Data Integration
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define data governance roles and responsibilities, and provide training sessions to educate stakeholders on data governance concepts and requirements.
  • Ensure seamless data flow across various systems and applications, with a focus on payment software and systems handling PII.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data integration solutions.
Data Retention and Compliance
  • Develop and manage data retention policies and schedules.
  • Ensure data lifecycle management practices comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Regularly review and update retention schedules to reflect changes in laws and business needs.

Job Description
  • Leads in developing, implementing, and managing organizational data solutions in order to meet business objectives and user requirements; establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure that data services are delivered in a high-quality and profitable manner.
  • Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to plan, design, build and maintain data solutions and services; may lead in building requirements, designing and building data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms and/or multiple applications.
  • Develops strategies for data implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery.
  • Advises and prepares information for senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.
  • Ensures integrity and maintenance of organizational data; Resolves data integration and security issues for adherence to the organization's quality standards.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $101,100.00 – $223,080.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
