The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilians, and international markets. The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID delivers technical, programmatic, and analytical support to customers with missions in national security, including DHS, HHS, and FAA. These teams focus on countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, and transportation safety.
We have a near‑term need for a Data Management Specialist to assist with systems engineering (SE) and testing and evaluation (T&E) programs in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The primary place of performance will be at SPA headquarters in Alexandria, VA, with regular visits to customer sites in VA and DC.
The Data Management Specialist will assist the senior instructor in developing course curriculum and administer courses and workshops related to T&E. The instructor will work with Homeland Security Acquisition Institute (HSAI) to implement all curriculum updates. Responsibilities also include records management with emphasis on collection, dissemination, tracking, use, and archiving of test data, reports, and key T&E documents; designing OTE SharePoint sites and developing libraries; serving as external and internal site administrator; and tracking and assisting the Government with responses to external requests, audits, and data calls.
Salary range: $115,000 – $135,000 per year. Salaries are commensurate with experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations, and pay parity.
