Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Data Management Administrator to implement and maintain governance policies, data standards, and tools ensuring data accuracy, security, and consistency across environments.

The role collaborates with data stewards, defines guidelines, and drives data quality initiatives while staying current with industry trends. This position is in-office, requiring 5 days on-site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) + years of experience as a data management administrator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of data management principles with emphasis on data quality across data assets.
  • Experience with databases and data warehousing concepts; data management tools such as Databricks and SQL.
  • Assist in training employees on data management and governance best practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends in data management and governance.

This is What You’ll Do

Job Summary

A detail-oriented and proactive Data Management Administrator responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting the processes, standards, and tools that ensure data is accurate, consistent, secure, and compliant with governance policies.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with data stewards to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Assist in defining data standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Organize and categorize data to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data management and governance strategies.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity and proactively address any issues.
  • Assist in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency across systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems science, or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) + years of experience as a data management administrator or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and best practices, with emphasis on managing and maintaining Data Quality across data assets.
  • Experience with databases, data warehousing concepts and data management tools (e.g., Databricks, SQL, etc.).
  • Assist in training and educating employees on data management and governance best practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data management and governance.

This role is not a remote position and will require 5 days in office.
