Job summary

ByteDance seeks interns for hands-on work on Large Language Models and AI Agent systems, building MaaS platforms and end-to-end data pipelines. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE/DS or related field.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one mainstream language and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with a big data engine or lakehouse storage.
• Demonstrated ability via projects, internships, research or open-source work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the data lake powering model and agent development.
• Develop large-scale batch and streaming pipelines from logs to datasets.
• Create analytics platforms to surface actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality and governance to support continuous improvement.
