Job summary

The MASY Group is seeking a data analyst to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data for project delivery, with emphasis on communicating insights to leadership through reports and dashboards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of quantitative experience, proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with SQL, VBA, and Excel. TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required for this role, based in Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, public policy, economics, sociology, education, business analytics or related field.
• At least 2 years of directly comparable experience with quantitative data.
• Ability to present data insights using statistical software and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
• Experience with programming language/coding (e.g., Visual Basic, SQL or similar). VBA/SQL with Access is common.
• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data for project development and execution.
• Track and maintain data, metrics, and evaluate data quality and reliability.
• Prepare reports and presentations to leadership highlighting findings, trends, and predictions.
• Support strategic initiatives and projects.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel/Access.
