Job summary

Strider is seeking a skilled intelligence analyst to identify and evaluate Chinese- and English-language data sources, applying structured analytic techniques to produce clear risk insights for clients.

The role requires collaboration with engineering and product teams, use of AI-enabled tools, and the ability to assess AI outputs for accuracy and completeness. Candidates should reside within commuting distance of South Jordan, UT or Tysons Corner, VA or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international affairs, data science, computer science, intelligence studies, Chinese language, or related field.
• At least one year of experience in intelligence analysis, quality assurance, data evaluation, or related analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, validate, and integrate data sources to improve risk detection at scale.
• Apply Chinese-language expertise to identify actors, relationships, and risk indicators.
• Develop knowledge of Strider's data holdings, ontology, risk methodology, and AI agent architecture.
• Apply intelligence production standards and structured analytic techniques to develop risk insights for clients.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
• Use AI-enabled tools to support research, data enrichment, and workflow development.
• Identify opportunities to improve data sources, analytical methods, and product performance.
• Collaborate with Intelligence, Engineering, and Product teams to support automation and scalable intelligence capabilities.
• Support intelligence needs across Platform Intelligence, Intelligence Advisory, and Strategic Global Intelligence teams.

Job description

• Identify, evaluate, validate, and integrate Chinese- and English-language data sources to improve data utilization and risk detection at scale.


• Apply Chinese-language expertise and knowledge of PRC economic statecraft to identify relevant actors, relationships, activities, and risk indicators within publicly available information.


• Develop working knowledge of Strider's data holdings, ontology, risk methodology, and AI agent architecture and apply that knowledge to intelligence production.


• Apply Strider's intelligence production standards and structured analytic techniques to develop risk intelligence with clear, actionable client insights.


• Evaluate AI-generated intelligence outputs for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and adherence to established methodologies and analytical standards.


• Use AI-enabled tools to support research, data enrichment, analysis, and development of new intelligence workflows and applications.


• Identify opportunities to improve data sources, analytical methods, intelligence workflows, and product performance.


• Collaborate with Intelligence, Engineering, and Product teams to support automation, product development, and scalable intelligence capabilities.


• Support intelligence needs across Platform Intelligence, Intelligence Advisory, and Strategic Global Intelligence teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in international affairs, data science, computer science, intelligence studies, Chinese language, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.


• At least one year of experience in intelligence analysis, quality assurance, data evaluation, or a related analytical field.


• Relevant coursework, internships, or service experience may substitute for direct professional experience.


• Chinese-language proficiency sufficient to research, evaluate, and interpret Chinese-language sources for intelligence analysis.


• Foundational knowledge of PRC economic statecraft and tactics, techniques, and procedures relevant to intelligence analysis and data accuracy.


• Experience using AI-enabled tools, such as AI-native development environments, agentic tools, or large language model interfaces, to support research, analysis, or technical workflows.


• Familiarity with structured analytic techniques and ability to apply analytical frameworks consistently when evaluating information and AI-generated outputs.


• Ability to evaluate detailed information against established methodologies, frameworks, or assessment criteria and clearly document findings.


• Clear written communication skills, including ability to communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.


• Legally authorized to work in the United States.


• Must reside within commutable distance of South Jordan, UT or Tysons Corner, VA, or be willing to relocate to one of those offices.
