Job summary

WSB is seeking a Data Integration Manager to lead a team focused on GIS and data integration for energy and utility infrastructure projects. You will drive governance standards and coordinate with energy leadership to ensure successful project delivery.

Ideal candidate brings extensive GIS and data workflow experience, strong leadership, and hands-on ArcGIS platform know-how to deliver scalable solutions for clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GIS, data integration, and governance in a consulting environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines on client projects.
• Experience with geospatial analysis and data-driven solutions in energy/utilities.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex concepts for clients and teams.
• Hands-on experience with ESRI platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise).

What you will do:

• Lead and developa team of data integration professionals supporting energy and utility infrastructure projects, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Energy & Utilities leadership, survey, engineering, permitting and design teamsto align geospatial solutions with client needs and project delivery goals.
• Serve as a technical and strategic resourcefor integrating GIS and data workflows into transmission, distribution, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Establish and maintain GIS data governance standardsfor Energy & Utilities projects, including data quality, metadata, documentation, and repeatable delivery practices.
• Support project pursuits and executionby defining geospatial scopes of work, deliverables, and data requirements for proposals, contracts, and client engagements.
• Guide the integration of GIS and survey into permitting and design workflows, improving data accuracy, reducing rework, and supporting informed decision-making across disciplines.
• Identify opportunities to streamline project deliverythrough automation, standardization, and improved data integration across CAD, GIS, and enterprise systems.
• Evaluate and recommend geospatial technologies and toolsthat enhance efficiency, scalability, and client value within the Energy & Utilities portfolio.
• Represent WSBs geospatial capabilitiesin internal coordination meetings, client discussions, and interactions with regulatory agencies.
• Communicate geospatial insightsthrough clear visualizations, presentations, and reports tailored to both technical stakeholders and clients.

What you will bring:

• A strong understanding of GIS, data integration, and governance in a consulting and project delivery environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines in fast-paced, client-focused projects.
• Experience supporting energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects with geospatial analysis and data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical outcomes for clients and project teams.
• Hands-on experience with ESRI platforms, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise.

Our Preferred Candidate will have:

• A Bachelors degree in computer science, environmental science, geography, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 7+ years of professional experience in GIS, data integration, or geospatial leadership roles supporting infrastructure or energy projects.
• Supervisory or managerial experience, ideally in a consulting environment.
• Experience with formal project management and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, FME, or similar tools for workflow automation and data processing.
• Knowledge of CAD/GIS integration and enterprise data workflows common to utility and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure) and scalable data architectures.
