Premier Professional Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Integration Engineer for a remote role in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with databases, SQL, XML, Databricks, and data integration tools, plus BI tools like Tableau or Power BI for data visualization. The role focuses on data automation, validation, and integration, with responsibilities across SQL scripting, SSIS packages, data conversions, and collaboration with SDM and technical project leads on

Qualificações

  • 2+ years of applicable experience in data integration
  • Experience with MSSQL, XML and BI tools expected
  • Familiarity with ETL/SSIS and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with data conversions and customer communication is a plus
  • Ability to develop SQL scripts and XML code
  • Knowledge of Databricks and Big Data analytics is preferred

Responsabilidades

  • Assist lead data conversion specialists with validating data and consolidating feedback for customer communication.
  • Develop basic SQL scripts and troubleshoot SSIS packages.
  • Update and maintain standard library of SQL scripts.
  • Document new processes and procedures.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot data conversion problems during implementation.
  • Support SSO provisioning in ERP platform.
  • Assist project leads with meeting minutes and updates.
  • Develop XML code to parse data.

Data Integration Engineer
What you will be doing:
  • Understanding of databases, SQL, XML, Databricks, and data integration tools
  • Familiarity with data automation, mining, and integration tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies and project management practices
  • Willingness to learn new technical skills and adapt to changing technologies
  • Basic capabilities using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to visually analyze data
  • Participate in Premier initiatives to advance or improve the business

This is a remote position that requires the following critical skills for success:

  • Communicate effectively through various channels such as email, chat, phone, or video conferencing to collaborate effectively with team members and convey information and ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Highly organized and able to manage their workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility #1- 90%
  • Assist lead data conversion specialists with validating data and consolidating feedback for customer communication.1.
  • Ability to develop basic SQL Scripts; Review, execute and troubleshoot more complex SQL scripts and SSIS packages previously developed by technical project leads.
  • Update and maintain standard library of SQL scripts
  • Document new processes / procedures
  • Investigate and troubleshoot basic data conversion problems/issues and assist in resolving critical customer problems during implementation.
  • Support implementation of federated and non-federated SSO, including bulk setup/provisioning for users within the ERP platform.
  • Assist SDM and Technical project leads on various tasks throughout the implementation project. Such as: capture meeting minutes, provide project updates to PM, data validation, user provisioning, etc.
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Communicate any changes in project plans and timelines.
  • Assist customer support team with cases to provide solutions to data problems.
  • Support basic service requests, which includes providing hours estimates and basic SQL script development, from ERP Platform customers.
  • Develop XML code to parse data

Working Conditions: Remote

Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US

Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $62,000 - $93,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
