Jobtailor in Irving, TX is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Matillion. You will develop SQL-based transformations, data models, and integrations for BI and analytics, while ensuring data quality and reliability across enterprise sources like Oracle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience with typically 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related technical field
• Strong SQL development experience, including complex queries, transformations, joins, and performance optimization
• Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse platform
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data quality practices
• Experience using Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Snowflake, Matillion, Oracle, Azure, and Change Data Capture technologies such as Qlik Replicate preferred
• Familiarity with Looker, Power BI, Tableau, dimensional modeling, analytics engineering, AI/ML technologies, and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions preferred
