Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years in Product Owner/Business Analyst/PM/PA with Data Governance.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Data Governance Council meetings, prepares agenda, and follow-ups.
  • Leads discovery to understand data systems, processes, and people affecting data domains.
  • Applies COBIT frameworks for data governance and data management needs.
  • Engages stakeholders to map data ownership and drive consensus on future ownership.
  • Implements change management across diverse functional areas.
  • Maps user decisions to systems and data to support decision-making.
  • Creates and maintains a year-long rolling Data Governance Initiatives Roadmap.
  • Leads agile mockups and prototypes to rapidly deliver business value.
  • Represents Data Governance in cross-functional discussions with executives.
  • Manages licensing and renewal for Precisely Automate Studio and ArcGIS.

It is expected that this individual continuously invests in learning and stays informed of the latest in Data Governance, Analytics, and Data Science approaches, solutions, frameworks, technology offerings, and best practices.**This is a hybrid role based in** **Glendale, WI,** **requiring on‐site work 3 days per week.****Specific Responsibilities:*** Leads the Data Governance Council meetings, prepares agenda, and follow-ups.* Leads discovery to understand data systems, processes, and people affecting one or several data domains. Applies COBIT frameworks specific to data governance and data management needs.* Engages stakeholders, sponsors, executives, and business users to map existing data owners and responsible parties, and drive consensus on future data ownership.* Implements change management across diverse functional areas when introducing data governance solutions (quality rules, monitoring tools, data catalogs) that will affect the way individuals work; and gets users’ commitment to adopt new solutions and to change their business processes if needed.* Effectively maps user decisions to systems, data, actions, and motivators to design industry-leading customer experiences. Provides counsel to business users on how to best leverage data for decision-making.* Creates and maintains a year-long rolling quarter Data Governance Initiatives Roadmap that outlines delivery plans including milestones and tentative release dates.* Leads team in mockups, prototypes, and testings solutions in an agile fashion to rapidly deliver business value.* Represent the Data Governance team in discussions with cross-functional partners and company executives to align priorities, resources, and impact, including representation on AI Governance Workstreams.* Prepares and publishes solution delivery reporting including but not limited to data quality monitoring, , and governance coverage and scorecards.* Creates and maintains a year-long rolling quarter Program/Product Roadmap that outlines solution delivery plans including milestones and tentative release dates.* Manages cross-functional communication with stakeholders, SMEs, and IT Analytics and Insights Leaders on Product Roadmap updates, releases, support/production issues, and decisions that impact several business and technology areas of the company.* Promotes data literacy and data centricity efforts across the company by providing users with training and learning resources.* Is the application owner and Manages licensing and order renewals for Precisely Automate Studio and ArcGIS.**Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information technology/systems, or analytics required, with a preference towards a master’s degree.* 5+ years of experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Product Analyst working with Data Governance, preferably at a large, global organization.* Certifications for Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, and CDMP are considered a plus.*Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.*The Salary range for this position is $129,150.00-$165,000.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
