• Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or related disciplines.
• Experience facilitating governance workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Healthcare, Medicaid, or Virginia state government experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Enterprise Data Governance Program across the organization.
• Facilitate governance workshops with business stakeholders.
• Onboard new applications into the Enterprise Data Governance Program.
• Partner with Data Owners and Data Stewards to establish governance for new enterprise datasets.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise business glossary.

The Office of Data Governance is seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst to support implementation of the agency's Enterprise Data Governance Program.

The analyst will work closely with DataOwners,DataStewards,BusinessOwners,EnterpriseArchitecture,DataEngineers,ProjectTeams,andInformationSecurity to establish trusted, governed enterprise data supporting both operational and analytical use cases.

This role focuses on governance activities supporting enterprise data ingested into the AWS Data Platform and consumed through Snowflake. The successful candidate will help establish governance processes, metadata, business rules, data quality standards, and stewardship practices while supporting the agency's growing enterprise data platform.

REQUIREDEXPERIENCE
