Job summary

Synapse Tech Services seeks a Software Developer to analyze and document business requirements from user stories, and participate in planning sessions. You will develop and modify code, perform DB2 queries, and design ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.

Responsibilities include production support, CI/CD deployments, and thorough testing with Business Objects BI tools in a Unix environment. Willingness to travel within the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or its equivalent.
• 24 months of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Business Objects Reporting Tool.
• Experience with Unix, Data Warehousing, ETL concepts.
• Willingness to travel/relocate within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements from user stories.
• Participate in requirements meetings, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
• Provide production support by identifying and resolving issues in lower environments.
• Develop and modify application code, SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
• Perform DB2 database development and querying.
• Design and support ETL concepts using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Deploy code changes to testing and UAT via CI/CD tools.
• Create and execute test cases and report defects.
• Use BI tools such as Business Objects Reporting Tool and Unix as required.
