Job Summary:

As a Cybersecurity Consultant at Stratejic Relationships, you will be responsible for assessing clients' cybersecurity needs, developing tailored security strategies, and implementing solutions to protect their assets from cyber threats. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide expert advice on how to achieve and maintain a strong security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation:
    • Engage with clients to assess their current cybersecurity measures, identify vulnerabilities, and understand their specific security needs.
    • Provide expert advice on best practices, emerging threats, and the latest cybersecurity trends to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Security Assessments and Audits:
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses, to identify potential threats and weaknesses in clients' systems.
  • Perform regular audits of clients' cybersecurity practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Security Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement customized cybersecurity strategies that align with clients' business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and recommend security architectures, including network security, data protection, identity and access management (IAM), and incident response plans.
  • Incident Response Planning:
  • Assist clients in developing and refining their incident response plans to ensure they are prepared to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of security breaches.
  • Lead incident response efforts during cybersecurity events, including coordinating with client teams, investigating incidents, and implementing recovery measures.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Guidance:
  • Provide guidance on achieving and maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Prepare clients for security audits and certification processes, including advising on necessary documentation and procedural changes.
  • Training and Awareness:
  • Conduct cybersecurity training sessions and workshops for clients' staff to raise awareness about security best practices and reduce human error risks.
  • Develop educational materials and resources to support ongoing security awareness within client organizations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients.
  • Regularly review and update clients' security strategies to address new threats and evolving business needs.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports on security assessments, incident responses, and compliance audits.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all client engagements, including risk assessments, security plans, and project progress.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, information security, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful client engagements and delivering measurable security improvements.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar are preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, risk management, and security frameworks.
  • Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, encryption).
  • Experience with cloud security, network security, and data protection solutions.
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-makers.
  • Project Management:
  • Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and work collaboratively to achieve their security goals.
