Job summary

LILT is seeking a senior Data Leader to own and advance our data transformation layer, including the dbt layer and data warehouse behind all metrics. You will hire and mentor a Data Engineer and a Senior Data Scientist, while owning cost, definitions, and delivery.

You will write SQL, Python, and dbt pipelines hands-on and partner with Finance, Operations, Production, and Product to ensure trusted, consistent metrics across the organization. Remote-friendly US positioning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data/analytics engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency; production pipelines.
• Experience with dbt, data warehouse design and cost management.
• Stakeholder management across Finance/Operations/Product in B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Own the data layer and ensure single source of truth.
• Lead the transformation layer and warehouse cost management.
• Define warehouse strategy and API exposure.
• Build and manage the data team; hire and mentor.
• Set agentic engineering practice for AI-enabled data pipelines.
• Stay hands-on writing SQL, dbt, and Python.
