A prominent fashion retailer is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead its Consumer Data Engineering Team. This role involves managing onshore and offshore engineers, ensuring the alignment of technical roadmaps with business priorities, and delivering data products within a GCP environment. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, expertise in customer and eCommerce data, and familiarity with GCP tools like BigQuery. Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Engineering, 2+ years in people management or team lead.
• Deep understanding of Customer Data, Digital/eCommerce, Marketing Analytics, and Store Operations.
• Hands-on experience with GCP tools and building data pipelines using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Consumer Data Engineering Team and oversee technical roadmaps.
• Manage a team of Data Engineers and provide technical mentorship.
• Collaborate with Sr. Data Architect on pipelines and technical standards.
• Translate complex needs into actionable engineering requirements.
• Establish best practices for code quality and documentation.
• Deliver high-quality data products within GCP Medallion architecture.
