Job summary

Crystal Equation is seeking a Data Engineer V for a remote role in the United States. The position focuses on developing, evaluating, testing, and maintaining data architectures and solutions to maximize the value of the organization's data assets.

You will implement plans and practices to protect and deliver data while enabling analytics. The ideal candidate will monitor KPI pipelines, troubleshoot metric errors, and ensure data quality across the rMetrics stack, with a strong emphasis on

• Investigate rMetric errors to confirm fit as an actual error (e.g. ‘Class D query has been blocked from going to Presto’).
• Investigate expanding Nest metrics and classify components as widgets.
• Continuously monitor Revenue reporting & rMetrics pipeline for SLA adherence and unblocking Monday reporting.
• Address minor data quality issues such as fixing NULL segment values in Linked rMetrics Pipeline maintenance and changes.

Data Engineer V Remote Summary: The main function of the Data Engineer is to develop, evaluate, test and maintain architectures and data solutions within our organization.

The typical Data Engineer executes plans, policies, and practices that control, protect, deliver, and enhance the value of the organizations data assets.

Responsibilities

• Investigate rMetric errors to confirm fit as an actual error (Ex. ‘Class D query has been blocked from going to Presto’ might be about blocking due to slow loading widget)
• Investigate expanding Nest metrics + classifying components as widgets
• Continuously monitoring Revenue reporting & rMetrics pipeline for SLA adherence and unblocking monday reporting
• Address minor data quality issues such as fixing NULL segment values in Linked rMetrics Pipeline maintenance and changes

Salary and benefits

Pay range is $105 - $110 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more.
