Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a data solutions professional to deliver full-stack data pipelines across the lifecycle, applying system engineering to collect, ingest, process, store, and deliver data at scale. You will design data models, ETL, and analytics solutions while ensuring data security and quality.

Strong experience with SQL, data visualization (Tableau/Power BI/Qlik), and programming (Python/VBA) is required to enable data-driven decision making across enterprise platforms.

Standard Job Description

Delivers full-stack data solutions across the entire data processing pipeline. This relies on systems engineering principles to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle to: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data at scale and at speed. It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data. Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with SAP, SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server (example: relational database principles, SQL, SQL Script, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL in support of Procedures, Functions, and Views)
• Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik.
• Experience with data mining and cleansing, recognizing and correcting errors/discrepancies and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data, and/or ETL data warehousing principles
• Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting/resolving complex technical issues
• Background in creating data solutions for Data Analytic products and services at scale and speed
• Background/working knowledge in multiple languages such as Python, Microsoft (VBA), or others and their various applications and use cases

Desired Skills

• Experience working with internal and external customers to develop and improve program deliverables, processes, and solutions that solve customer needs
• Experience in coordinating changes to existing data products with minimal disruption to end-user
• Knowledge of ERP system functionality
• Relational database principles and strong SQL
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $106600.00 - $198000.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $95900.00 - $178100.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $85300.00 - $158300.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $76700.00 - $142500.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

Benefits offered:

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
