Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ELT development.
• Experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse solution.
• Experience with Matillion as an ELT platform.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries and optimizing query performance.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation and data transformation tasks.
• Experience acquiring data from REST and Graph APIs.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI features is desirable.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, storage, IAM, and best practices are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ETL/ELT into Snowflake using Matillion Data Productivity Cloud.
• Optimize database performance and storage, indexing, and retrieval.
• Collaborate with business units to translate data requirements into solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security through data governance and management practices.
• Support data models that enable effective business intelligence and reporting.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues for reliability and accuracy.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend best-fit solutions.
• Assist integration of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop scripts and queries with Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
